“I feel more confident managing school and life stressors.”

Expanding
Mental Health Services

Thanks to a Sunset Grant through the Bunbury Fund at the Princeton Area Community Foundation (PACF), Anchor House expanded access to no-cost mental health care. We added a bilingual therapist, offered telehealth services, and increased counseling for young people across our programs and for members of the community.

We provided accessible trauma-informed and culturally responsive individual and group counseling across programs. Services also included wellness and recovery sessions, case management, life skills, and crisis intervention.

As demand for mental health care continues to grow, we are exploring more ways to expand services—and reduce stigma and barriers to participation. These services include offering more community-based mental health supports, from peer support groups to specialized workshop sessions (such as anger management, parenting, and Adverse Childhood Experiences).

“I appreciate having someone who can listen and support me without judgement.”
