The Anniversary Celebration will be held Thursday, September, 28, 2023 from 5:30-8:30pm at Mercer Oaks in West Windsor. Proceeds from the event will help support safe housing, crisis intervention, outreach and supportive services that help hundreds of youth and their families thrive each year.
The evening will feature some of our brightest shining stars – our donors, volunteers, board, staff and youth. Guests will enjoy a buffet dinner and the opportunity for networking among peers.

THANK YOU – 45th Anniversary Celebration tickets are now SOLD OUT!
Even though our event is now SOLD OUT, you can still make a meaningful impact and support our 45th Anniversary by donating online. When you give in support of Anchor House, your dollars make an immediate impact. Your donations help to improve the quality of life and health in our community by giving youth the tools to become self-sufficient and active participants in the community.
Our Honorees
- Rue Foundation
Philanthropic Angel Award
Since its formation, the Rue Foundation has provided more than $1,000,000 in grants to support educational institutions, health care providers, organizations that assist at-risk and homeless youth and families, and programs that help individuals with developmental disabilities. The Foundation is part of the active community involvement of Rue Insurance led by William M. Rue, Chairman, and William Jue, Jr., President. Anchor House is a proud longtime partner, most recently receiving a generous gift for our Youth Homelessness Expansion Project at Brunswick Avenue in Trenton. - The Golis Family
Champion for Youth Angel Award
The Golis Family created the Cory Golis/Anchor House Foundation Scholarship Fund to provide tuition assistance to high school graduates to attend college, trade, or technical school. The Fund honors the memory of Cory Golis, a bright light, and youth advocate, who left us too soon. Since 1999, the Golis family, Jim, Jerri and Jeremy, held “Cory’s Ride” each year to honor Cory’s memory and raise scholarship funds. Numerous Anchor House youth have benefited from the generosity of the Golis Family over the years to help pursue their post-secondary goals. - Rev. Rupert A. Hall, Jr.
Community Advocate Award
Rev. Rupert A. Hall, Jr, the Servant Pastor of Turning Point United Methodist Church in Trenton, is deeply committed to the community and helping individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Rev. Hall serves on the Board of Directors of Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. Anchor House operated our second street outreach Youth Drop-In Location at Turning Point as a safe place for youth to locate services and information. Turning Point hosts the homeless memorial, distributes food and hot meals and welcomes all. - We will also recognize and celebrate Anchor House youth who shine bright.
