You can help Anchor House provide youth and young adults in need with a safe place and a myriad of programs and services to help them succeed and thrive. Our services go beyond safe housing in addressing all aspects of our youth’s lives. Our video details how Anchor House is changing their lives.

How To Make A One-Time Donation
To make a donation to Anchor House, you can use the online form. The form shows examples of what your donation can pay for. You can also mail a check to:

Anchor House Monthly Giving Program
As a member of our monthly giving community, you can make automatic donations each month and spread your giving throughout the year. You can select how much you give each month and change the amount or cancel at any time.

Acknowledgments of Donation
A receipt/acknowledgement of your donation will be sent to the email address provided. Donations mailed to Anchor House will receive an acknowledgement through USPS.
Donations Made to Anchor House in Honor or In Memory of Someone
On our online form, click on the “Give in honor/memory” checkbox. You can also provide the email of who you want notified about the gift. In the “Add note/comment” checkbox, you can provide more details about the gift (for instance, if you do if you want the notification mailed USPS or if it is in honor of someone, if it is for a special occasion like a birthday).
Employer Matching Gifts
Double your impact. Many employers match employee donations of money or time. Please check with your employer to see if they will match your gift and to initiate the match.
Tax Deductible
Anchor House is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization. Your contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. The Tax ID# is #22-2229995.
Donor Advised Funds
Anchor House welcomes gifts through Donor Advised Funds (DAF). You can securely donate through a DAF online or a check can be mailed to 482 Centre Street, Trenton, NJ, 08611.
Planned Giving and Non-Cash Gifts
Anchor House accepts non-cash gifts including gifts of securities, IRA, gifts of stock or planned gifts.
Please consider leaving Anchor House in your estate plans. Sample language is below:
I hereby give, devise, and bequeath [an amount, a percentage, or the rest and residue of your estate] to Anchor House, a nonprofit organization located at 482 Centre Street, Trenton, NJ, 08611, Federal Tax ID #22-2229995, for general use and purpose.
You can also:
- Name Anchor House as the designated beneficiary of a Retirement Plan or as the designated beneficiary, or partial beneficiary, of a Life Insurance Policy,
- Place assets in a Charitable Remainder Trust that pays annual income to you (or another named beneficiary) for life. After your lifetime or a term of years, the remainder of the trust can be transferred to Anchor House.
- Place assets in a Charitable Lead Trust that pays a fixed amount to Anchor House for the number of years you choose. Once this time period ends, the assets held by the trust are transferred to the beneficiaries you name.
